Book club
Book Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 1:30pm. Members get a turn to choose the book of the month. That book is then discussed at the next monthly meeting. The group included those who have read books most of their lives to those who until joined, hadn’t read a book since they left school.
Books that are selected are from various genres and authors have been from different countries including Australia, the USA, the UK and India.
The books selected are ones usually readily available at the library. There are always opportunities to discuss other books you have read and enjoyed.
Members have said that by being in our book club they have read books from genres or authors they most likely wouldn’t of but thoroughly enjoyed them!
